Freedom and Burgers
A week after our national holiday of Independence Day, Free Parking celebrates our communal desire for the liberation of all people and a remembrance of those who worked for that liberation before 1776 and for those in the 250 years since.
Yes, we’re a bar and restaurant, but we who work here believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for every human being. We hope to feed and sustain you for your own pursuits, and for all the ways you work for freedom.
From the Declaration of Independence:

IT’S BURGER WEEK! (can you tell we’re excited?)
It’s back—Cincy’s Burger Week and our delicious burgers are on special for the week. We’ve got tons of tasty sides to add, toothsome desserts, and refreshing beverages. We would love to see you!
Play Timeline: American History!
You don’t have to know exact dates in this game—players get a hand of cards, each with a significant historical event on one side and the date on the back. No cheating and looking at the date! The goal is to empty your hand by placing correctly, and players take turns placing one of their cards into the growing timeline on the table, discarding incorrect placements and drawing another to their hands. I was surprised the first time I played this game how lively it is! On the surface you might think “boring, educational game,” but while it is educational in that you can learn not only exact dates but relationships between them, the gameplay itself is quick and emotionally satisfying. Timeline was originally published with several versions including themes like pop culture and inventions, but sadly they’re all out of print.
