We are constantly looking at how to upgrade our collection at Free Parking. Various guests have generously donated some wonderful games, we’ve bought some here and there, there are even a handful from my and owner Matt’s collections that we thought just needed to be here for y’all to play!

A lot of thought goes into curating the collection here. They’re not just games we like (though we like so many!), they’re games that can be played while you’re also catching up with friends, games that push your brain a little (or a lot) and that you can talk about the experience of for the rest of the night, they’re games you know and love from your childhood, games your kids can play, games you can play with 15 of your closest friends, and games that span as many genres and mechanisms as we can. Sometimes, we find something just isn’t being played, so we think about what would be a good replacement.

Coming up on May 31 (details still TBA), we’ll host our very first Community Board Game Swap, a time for those of you who want to curate your own collections to trade with each other and with the Free Parking library. Of course, not everything we have is available to be swapped, but you can find our list here, as well as a list of games we’re interested in adding here. Stay tuned for more information on time and logistics, but we hope we’ll see you there!

Try our Caesar Chicken Wrap

Our summery Chicken Wrap combines our fresh cut veggies (romaine lettuce, red onions, and tomatoes) with savory Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and fried or grilled chicken. Great with a side of sweet potato fries and our sweet chili sauce. This is a great handheld option for someone looking for a lighter, yet filling alternative to our classic burgers and chicken sandwiches.
